Built is the second solo exhibition by emerging artist, Matthew McVeigh and has been created in response to the social, cultural, economic, political, ethnic and geographical environment of Western Australia. McVeigh has collaborated with selected building industry professionals to highlight the paradigm that mirrors this real world dynamic, creating a constructed experience of objects, moving images, wall work and installation. Each work explores a singular notion of Built that, in sum, constructs a broad narrative and experience of one’s personal built environment.
