From Ancestors that sewed the lands

And prayed for rains

From little grains they made great gains

But also livelihoods built on land bloodstains

No white guilt but we need to acknowledge

Blood was spilt for what’s been built

So don't raise a flag with a rifle

It’s time for this county to take reprisal

Subvert the union jack

It doesn’t include the colour BLAK

Acknowledges Australian Aboriginal ethnography

Not constitutions built on injustice as authority

We all live under our radiant southern cross

This land has great knowledge that's been lost

It’s home for all

It lives in all our hearts

Yet our shared histories keep us apart

This shadow of colonisation needs to depart

Changing the flag would be a great start!
