Same stars different dreamings
Same stars different dreamings
Origins of cultures finding meaning
In star-litten skies
Believing flooding eyes
Purpose drifts and dies
Age after age is man anymore wise?
As the sun once again does rise
Saturn and Mars, one from Venus
A whole world and still nothing between us
Land and man under
Midnight moon
Ocean tides
Continually changing their tune
Twinkling stars will become
Ancient dawn light
Flooding country soon
Curiosity stretches the dark lit span
Questioned in ritual as a wondrous plan
Stars now owned to flags
Reduced to reverenced rags
Nationalised, Monopolised, Capitalised,
Starry skies falling in unanalysed
Death coming to stars
Like starry night poets die
Wondering what they really are…………
As the sun still rises
Over man that has turned its rays to crisis.
Those with no apathy for the great setting star are the wisest.
