This puppet has been used extensively at community events to promote the idea of recycling and not littering. Standing at over 2.5 metres high, Captain Recycle makes sure he gets his message across. The puppet was made from materials often left on the foreshores and parks as litter after large community events. The materials used consist of plastic bags, aluminium cans and chip packets etc.
