PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The City of Fremantle commissioned myself and another artist, Minaxi May, to design and facilitate an urban art project with young people from Challenger Tafe, Beaconsfield. We worked with the students looking at geometrical patterns, Op Art and paint dripping techniques, which eventually informed a design that was painted onto the Dismantle Community Art workshops. Before we painted the workshop shipping container, it was a bore water stained white. The Mural has helped to deter graffiti and given the Dismantle organisation a more visual presence in its current location.
