We were commissioned by Propel Youth Arts to mentor 3 young emerging WA artists, to create an interactive public artwork for the KickstART Youth Markets as part of National Youth Week 2015.
As a group we decided to create a large maze based on the idea of reinterpreting and appropriating fairy tales. The structure was made of interlocking cardboard panels and the public were encouraged to draw on the walls as they wondered through the maze. The three mentees all had a room within the maze that they had designed based on a fairytale.
