The core samples are 1:100 scale representations of the largest buildings built in WA since the start of our mining relations with Asia in the late 1960-70s which predominately have been the surplus in Iron Bauxite exporting to Japan and China. The Steel samples are 1:100 scale representations of the Largest building of the Beijing Skyline since the inception of this trading relationship. The buildings are laid out following the timeline of trade to create a statistical bar graph that reflect the relationship between growth of industry, the development of our cities and International integration and interchange of world views, products, ideas and sharing of culture.
