Horse on Course

DETAILS:
2017, 3m x 1m x 2.5m, fibreglass, paint, printed photos, vinyl lettering

This work is an acknowledgement of the important work  Professor Juli Coffin, a Nyangumarta woman is doing. The work is about her work with the Aboriginal youth of this country. The horse has Rorschach ink blobs that on closer exception visually describe post colonial trauma. A horse though can lead to a better course, is evident in the photos of the children engaging in therapy with the horse.
