VEXillology(2018) made in collaboration with and a range of local artists (tagged), is a series of 8 flags accompanied with anthems - score and lyrics (poems). The installation explores modes of identity, culture and politics in an ostensible self-contradictionary fashion, to reveal the hidden paradox of inclusivity and exclusivity. The work explores the nationalistic ritual of vexillology (study of flags)- its history, symbolism and usage along with anthems, as a system of social organisation of ‘over-identification'
